Ex.t products are made by local artisans using traditional crafting techniques. Possible small imperfections due to artisan craftsmanship prove the uniqueness and authenticity of the products.
LACQUERED & POWDER COATED METAL
It is recommended only to use a soft dry cloth to clean lacquered and powder coated surfaces but in case more severe cleaning is necessary, a soft cloth wet and warm water can be carefully applied. Always dry immediately after cleaning with a soft dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaning agents or aggressive cleaning detergents on lacquered or powder coated surfaces as this may permanently damage the surface.
LACQUERED WOOD
For daily care it is recommended to dust the furniture with a soft cloth. Lacquered and stained wood can be cleaned with a soft cloth wrung in warm water and a universal cleaning detergent. Always follow the wood grains and always dry with a soft dry cloth immediately after cleaning. Avoid to use abrasive cleaning agents and aggressive cleaning detergents as this will damage the lacquered or stained wood surfaces. Avoid to expose wooden furniture directly to sun-light, excessive heat or humidity. Avoid surface contact with sharp objects as these can leave scratches over the wood and lacquer.
BRASS
For brass daily cleaning it’s recommended to use exclusively a soft dry cloth. For removal of stains, a soft cloth wet with warm water can be carefully applied. Always dry immediately after cleaning with a soft dry cloth. For daily cleaning of uncoated brass it is recommended to use exclusively a soft dry cloth. The material can be regularly cleaned and polished using a specific detergent suitable for brass and copper. Avoid using abrasive cleaning agents or aggressive cleaning detergents on coated and uncoated brass as well as on copper as this will permanently damage the surface.
CERAMIC
A soft sponge is ideal for cleaning your bathroom ware in ceramic. Do not use in any case abrasive, caustic or aggressive substances. For a better cleanliness and to remove possible residuals of limescale or soap it is advisable to clean your ceramics in depth periodically with a non-abrasive cleaner. A regular washing with warm water and soap and drying with a soft rag soon after the use will be sufficient to keep your bathroom suite perfect.
GLASS
Daily cleaning of glass is best done using a dry soft cloth. In case a more severe cleaning is needed, it is recommended to use a soft cloth in combination with a standard glass cleaning detergent and dry off with a soft dry cloth afterwards. Avoid using abrasive cleaning agents on glass as this will damage the surface.
LEATHER
We recommend that you do not expose leather furniture directly to sunlight or close to heat sources such as radiators or wood-burning stoves. Vacuum regularly your leather furniture with a soft brush, and avoid using detergents and sharp implements. For everyday care and cleaning, we recommend to use a clean soft cloth and warm water.
MARBLE & STONE
For daily care and cleaning it is recommended to use a cleaning agent specifically developed for stone or marble. In case a more severe cleaning is necessary, use a cleaning agent specifically developed for stone or marble. Avoid using abrasive cleaning agents or aggressive cleaning detergents on marble as this will permanently damage the surface.
